Important instructions for candidate:
1. Please note that only those candidates who have Mathematics as a subject in graduation have been shortlisted for appearing in the written examination. Please note that although call letter has been issued, candidate who does not have

a) MATHEMATICS/NUMERICALS/STATISTICS as a subject in GRADUATION LEVEL,

b) DIPLOMA/DEGREE IN COMPUTER APPLICATION of not less than 6 months duration, shall NOT be allowed to appear for written test or may be disqualified at any stage in the selection process.

2. Before coming for the written examination, please ensure that you are eligible according to the eligibility criteria stipulated in the advertisement. Please note that you are allowed provisionally to appear in the written examination, even if you qualify in the written examination and subsequently it is found that you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, your candidature will be cancelled.

3. You are advised to report at the examination venue at least 30 minutes prior to the reporting time. The duration of examination will be 1 hours.

4. The candidates should carry two good quality Blue/Black Ball point pen for answering questions. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited for answering questions.

5. Candidates are required to bring one photo-Id proof at the examination venue.

6. Use of book, notebook, calculators, pagers, cell phones etc. is not permitted in the examination. Any candidate found resorting to any unfair means or malpractice or any misconduct while appearing at the examination including giving / receiving help from any candidate during the test will be disqualified. The candidate should be vigilant to ensure that no other candidate is able to copy from his/her answers.

7. The test booklet and the answer sheet supplied to the candidates must be returned intact to the invigilator. Any candidate trying to tamper/ take them away or found in unauthorized possession is liable to be prosecuted.

8. Persons with disability should contact the Chief Test Administrator of the test venue at least one hour before the time of the examination for assistance in seating, if needed. Visually Handicapped candidates who require to engage a scribe for the written examination are required to fill the particulars of the scribe in the format provided for this purpose at MSTC website.

9. No requests for change of centre/ venue will be entertained.

10. There will be objective type questions on basic mathematics & aptitude in computers including knowledge in software.

11. Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for a computer practical test and interview, the venue and time of which will be intimated subsequently.

12. Further candidates working in Govt/PSU are required to additionally produce ‘NOC’ for participating in the selection process failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the process any further.

13. SC/ST and PWD candidates appearing for interview from outstation will be reimbursed second class railway fare by the shortest route from the railway station nearest to place of residence to the place of examination and back.
