Verification of Documents

All documents in support of age, caste, PWD (if applicable), qualification and experience shall be verified. Candidates are required to bring all original documents and one set of copy of the same for verification.

Only those candidates who clear verification shall appear for next selection process..

Reporting Time: As indicated in the list of shortlisted candidates.

Venue: As per details of MSTC offices

• All candidates are required to report to the nearest region/Branch/head office of MSTC (offices of MSTC) on all working days between 11.00 a.m. to 4 p.m. for verification of their documents.
• Please note that if any Information provided in application for the post cannot be supported with original during verification/ NOC cannot be submitted at the time of interview by the candidate, their candidature shall be cancelled at this stage and will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
• Call letter for interview shall be issued online and via email with detailed instructions. Any query can be directed at careers@mstcindia.co.in.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW & SCHEDULE

• The interviews for all posts are schedule to be conducted face-to-face as indicated in the list of shortlisted candidates.
• In the event, any candidate is unable to go to any MSTC office for verification / appear for interview, on account of lockdown/Quarantine measures in force at the location of the candidate or MSTC office, then the Candidates shall intimate the same to MSTC and send scanned self attested copies of all Testimonials through their registered e-mail to careers@mstcindia.co.in. and can opt for VC as a mode for interview. In such cases, it may please be noted that your candidature is subject to verification of documents with originals and in case of any discrepancy between the self attested documents sent through mail and the originals, your candidature will be cancelled irrespective of the stage of recruitment.
• Please note that, if no email / response is received from you before the scheduled date of interview, such candidate shall be scheduled for face to face interview at MSTC, Head Office in Kolkata.
• The schedule for interview given is subject to various central and state restrictions on movement and may be revised at a short notice. Hence all candidates are mandatorily required to check the MSTC website www.mstcindia.co.in/careers for any notification in this regard.

Call Letters for respective posts are to be downloaded from here.

In case any candidate, whose name appears in the list, is not able to download it from the above link, he/she may appear for the same at the venue and stipulated time on the given date along with a photo-address identity proof and other documents as mentioned above for verification.

Caste Certificates

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category are required to bring relevant certificates in valid format. Candidates belonging to OBC are required to bring updated Non Creamy Layer certificate in proper format, failing which they shall be considered as General Category candidates.

NOC from employer

Candidates working in Government/ PSU should bring ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer.

Traveling Allowance (TA Form)

You will be reimbursed 2nd class railway fare by the shortest route from the railway station nearest to your place of residence to Kolkata and back, provided the same is at a distance of 50 miles/80 k.m. and above. For road journey between stations not connected by rail, they shall be paid actual bus fare or road mileage @ Rs. 7.00/k.m., whichever is less provided the distance covered by road is more than 20 miles/ 32 k.m. each way.

For this purpose, candidates are required to download the claim form from the website notice and submit duly filled form at the time of appearing for interview, enclosing travelling tickets/ boarding pass, copy of cancelled cheque or first page of bank passbook (if not uploaded during application). Disqualification of a candidate

In case any candidate fails to produce any Original Certificate/Testimonial/Mark Sheet in support of his/her Qualification, Age, Disability and Caste declared by him/her, or fails to furnish ‘No Objection Certificate’ from his/her employer, wherever applicable, the candidature of the incumbent will be cancelled and he/she will not be allowed to participate in the selection process any further. In such event, no TA shall be admissible to the candidate for making the journey.
